Those who survived
Many of the thousands of people who have been forced to become refugees are victims of torture. They are the most vulnerable of the vulnerable. They were tortured in their countries in the most violent and indescribable ways. They managed to escape their persecutors, and, risking everything, once again put themselves in danger in order to seek asylum in “Fortress Europe”. Murad, Zan, and Ali, currently invisible entities among the crowd of the Greek capital, are now confronted with a new adventure: to convince the authorities of the truth of their story, the only proof being their word and body, to set up a new life from scratch, and most importantly, to heal their wounds.
