What we do / Services for minors:
Babel provides specialized mental healthcare services to refugee and migrant children and their families, including:
- Diagnosis, needs’ assessment, functionality assessment, resilience/ vulnerability assessment.
- Child-psychiatric treatment
- Psychological support
- Counseling and psychotherapy to children and parents by specialized professionals
- Connection to services, mediation, collaboration with schools and other important child institutions
- Psychosocial rehabilitation
- Special treatments (speech therapy, occupational therapy and special education)
Interventions are developed at an individual and/ or group level. Group activities for children aim at the cover of socialization, empowerment needs as well as the resilience strengthening.
